Barcelona Avenue will remain open for vehicle traffic during the match between Barcelona and Inter Miami
The authorities in Guayaquil announced that Barcelona Avenue will remain open during the friendly match between Barcelona Sporting Club and Inter Miami, which features Lionel Messi.
The Transit and Mobility Agency (ATM) of Guayaquil has confirmed that traffic on Barcelona Avenue will remain open in light of the highly anticipated friendly match between Barcelona Sporting Club and Inter Miami CF, led by renowned soccer player Lionel Messi. The game is scheduled for Saturday at 19:00, and the ATM has taken measures to facilitate transportation while ensuring public safety.
To minimize disruption during the event, the ATM has stated that urban buses will not undergo any temporary diversions. However, based on the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, there may be temporary changes or brief closures in nearby roads to manage congestion effectively. This proactive approach by the authorities aims to accommodate both fans attending the match and the regular flow of city traffic.
In addition to keeping the roads open, the ATM will deploy operational contingents from RodrΓguez BonΓn Avenue to Velasco Ibarra Avenue to monitor traffic and prevent improper parking. They will also utilize integrated traffic and transportation control monitoring through video surveillance to ensure a smooth experience for attendees and residents alike during this significant sporting event in the city.
