On Friday morning, police from the Subdirectorate for Drug Enforcement arrested a 66-year-old man in Ano Liosia, Attica, on charges of drug possession, violence against officials, and violations of laws related to weapons and personal data. This operation followed the effective utilization of intelligence information regarding his possession of drugs and weapons. After thorough police actions including verifications and profiling, his criminal activities were confirmed.

The arrested individual was caught in his residence with illegal possession of drug pills classified as pharmaceuticals, alongside weapons and ammunition. Authorities also discovered that he had installed six surveillance cameras outside his home, increasing concerns regarding his preparedness against law enforcement. The situation escalated as he attempted to thwart the police operation by violently resisting arrest and physically assaulting the officers present.
