A dramatic scene unfolded on Friday at Orebić beach when a dolphin got stranded in shallow water. The animal, likely exhausted and disoriented due to strong winds, was unable to return to deeper waters. Thanks to the remarkable composure and bravery of a local resident, Sara, along with her friend Dario, the dolphin was successfully saved and returned to the ocean. According to reports, the dolphin's struggle was witnessed by beachgoers and prompted an urgent response.

The rescue mission began when Sara, walking her dog along the nearby promenade, spotted the helpless creature. Without hesitation, she decided to take action. "While I was walking, I saw that the dolphin had beached in front of the Grand Hotel. It seemed unable to return to deeper waters, so I decided to help by entering the water and, despite a slight fear, pulling it by the tail," Sara recounted, highlighting her instinctive drive to assist the struggling animal.

Dario, who happened to be nearby, quickly joined her efforts, and together they managed to push the dolphin back into the sea after several attempts. Their quick and coordinated actions not only prevented a potential tragedy for the creature but also showcased the strong community spirit in Orebić, emphasizing the importance of local residents' willingness to come together for a common good.
