Gavin McKenna, an 18-year-old Canadian hockey star, has avoided aggravated assault charges related to an incident on the last day of January in a bar, which was reported by ESPN. He is one of the hottest prospects for the upcoming NHL draft and currently represents Penn State University. Despite the dismissal of the aggravated assault charge, McKenna still faces lesser assault allegations as well as other charges connected to severe injuries sustained by the victim.
