TCU Minister Rejects Suspension of Embratur's Funding to Samba School Honoring Lula

Minister Aroldo Cedraz of the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) rejected a request to suspend the transfer of R$ 1 million from the Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion (Embratur) to the samba school Acadêmicos de Niterói, which will pay tribute to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in its theme.
