At least 44 LGBTQ athletes participate... The Olympics once again questions the criteria for gender

The upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan will see participation from around 2900 athletes, including notable transgender athlete Elin Lundholm from Sweden, who is the only openly transgender competitor in this year's games.
