Inflation in Bulgaria decreased after the introduction of the euro

Contrary to skeptics, transitioning to the euro did not result in a price crisis for Bulgaria, with January prices rising only by 0.7% compared to December according to preliminary estimates from the National Statistical Institute of Bulgaria.
