Paramedics face violence in nearly one out of every hundred job calls - one third of violent patients are intoxicated

A new study from Turku University of Applied Sciences reveals that 0.7% of paramedic calls involve violence, with a significant portion of violent patients being intoxicated and underreporting of these incidents posing a major problem.
