An exceptionally significant burial in a jar, dating from the Early Bronze Age (3200-2000 BC), was discovered during rescue excavations being conducted by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Eastern Attica as part of the archaeological sub-project on the project 'Arrangement-Delimitation of the Rafina Stream'.
